Go to the main interstate motor park in Azare. Look for reputable transport companies like GIGM, GUO Transport, Peace Mass Transit, or other major operators that ply southern routes or specifically to Okigwe/Enugu/Port Harcourt.

Book your ticket. It's advisable to book in advance, especially during festive seasons. Confirm luggage policies and charges. Board a comfortable luxury bus (e.g., 14-seater Hiace or larger 59-seater bus).

Depart Azare early morning. The bus will start on local roads, then turn right onto Misau - Azare Road. You will continue straight on Misau - Azare Road, navigating through a roundabout and exiting straight.

At the end of Misau - Azare Road, turn left onto Kano-Maiduguri Highway. Follow this highway, taking a slight right fork. You will then merge onto the A3. The route then involves a slight right into a rotary onto Maiduguri Bypass, exiting straight on Maiduguri Bypass.

After exiting Maiduguri Bypass, you will encounter another rotary, turning right onto A3, then exiting slight right on A3. Continue on A3, navigating several roundabouts and turns as you head south. This segment will take you through states like Plateau (passing Jos) and Benue (passing Makurdi). The bus will make 1-2 major rest stops for food and restrooms, typically in towns like Jos or Makurdi.

Continue on A3, passing through more roundabouts and turns. You will eventually turn left onto F113, then turn right onto Enugu - Port Harcourt Expressway. This expressway will lead you towards Okigwe.

Arrive at the major motor park in Okigwe. From here, you can take a local Keke Napep (tricycle), motorcycle taxi (Okada), or a regular taxi to your specific destination within Okigwe.
