Best Time to Travel

The best times to travel to avoid the worst of Lagos traffic are between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM, and after 8:00 PM on weekdays. Weekends, especially Sunday mornings, also offer significantly lighter traffic. Try to avoid the weekday rush hours (6:00 AM - 9:30 AM and 4:00 PM - 7:30 PM) if possible, as travel time can easily double or triple.

Medium. While Banana Island, Ikoyi, and Lekki Phase 1 are generally upscale and relatively well-policed areas, general Lagos safety precautions apply. Always be aware of your surroundings, especially at crowded bus stops where pickpocketing can occur. Avoid displaying expensive items. The risk of 'one-chance' (unintended detours or criminal activity in public transport) is generally low on this specific corridor but remains a general caution in Lagos public transport. BRT / Rail / Water

There is no direct BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) or rail service that conveniently covers this specific route. While BRT buses operate along Ozumba Mbadiwe Avenue, accessing them from Banana Island and then connecting from a BRT stop to Admiralty Circle would typically involve additional 'Keke' or 'Danfo' rides, making it less direct and potentially more cumbersome than the multi-stage 'Danfo' and 'Keke' approach.
