At the terminal, locate the offices of reputable transport companies like GIGM, ABC Transport, or GUO Transport. Book your ticket for an Abuja-bound luxury bus. It's advisable to book online or call ahead, especially during busy periods.

Board your luxury bus. These buses offer air conditioning, reclining seats, and sometimes onboard entertainment. The journey typically begins by exiting Lagos via the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

The bus will pass through major towns and make a planned rest stop, usually in Ore, Ondo State. Here, you can stretch, use the restroom, and buy food or drinks.

Continue the journey through areas like Okene and then Lokoja in Kogi State. Lokoja is a significant transit point, and you may experience brief traffic around the Niger Bridge. Expect several police and military checkpoints along the route.

The final stretch is on the Abuja-Lokoja Expressway. Road conditions are generally fair to good, but some sections may have potholes.
