Step 1: Get from Dei Dei to a major interstate motor park in Abuja. The most reliable options are Utako Motor Park or Jabi Park. From Dei Dei, you can take a local taxi or a ride-hailing service (like Bolt/Uber) to either Utako or Jabi. Zuba Park is also an option for shared cars heading North.

Step 2: At the motor park, locate major transport companies that operate routes to Kano. Look for companies like GIGM, GUO Transport, Peace Mass Transit, or ABC Transport. Book a ticket for a bus (Luxury Bus or Toyota Hiace) going to Kano. It's best to book in advance, especially during festive seasons.

Step 3: Board your bus to Kano. The journey will take you through the Abuja-Kaduna Expressway and then the Kaduna-Kano Expressway. Expect several security checkpoints along the way. Major transit towns you'll pass include Kaduna and Zaria. Buses usually have one or two designated rest stops for passengers to stretch, use restrooms, and buy refreshments.

Step 4: Arrive at the motor park in Kano (e.g., Unguwa Uku Motor Park or Naibawa Park). From here, you will need to connect to Garki, Jigawa. Garki is about 1.5 to 2 hours drive from Kano.

Step 5: From the Kano motor park, find a shared taxi, 'Sharon' (Toyota Sienna), or local bus heading towards Ringim or Gumel, which are major towns close to Garki LGA in Jigawa. Inform the driver you are going to Garki. They will either drop you directly or at a point where you can easily get a local 'Keke Napep' or motorcycle taxi to your final destination within Garki.
