From Festac, take a local 'Danfo' (yellow bus) or 'Keke Napep' (tricycle) to the Maza-Maza motor park. This is the closest major interstate park to Festac.

At Maza-Maza, locate the offices of major transport companies like GIGM, GUO Transport, or Peace Mass Transit. Purchase a ticket for Ado Ekiti. Booking a day or two in advance is recommended, especially during festive seasons.

Board your bus (could be a 7-seater Sienna, 14-seater Hiace, or a 50-seater luxury bus, depending on your ticket). The journey departs Maza-Maza, joins the Lagos-Badagry Expressway, then Apapa-Oworonshoki Expressway, connecting to Ikorodu Road and eventually the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

The bus will continue on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, passing through major towns and possibly making a brief stop for passengers to stretch or use restrooms, often around Ibadan or Ile-Ife. From Ibadan, the route typically branches onto the Ile-Ife Expressway, then connects to the Ado Ekiti / Efon Road.

Expect security checkpoints along the route. Have your ID ready if requested. The road conditions are generally fair to good, with some sections having ongoing construction or potholes.

Arrive at the transport company's terminal in Ado Ekiti. From there, you can take a 'Keke Napep' or local taxi to your final destination within Ado Ekiti.
