The journey will commence, navigating initial local roads before merging onto the major federal highway, A1. You will travel through various towns and landscapes on A1, then transition onto A126.

Continue on A126, which eventually connects to the A2 highway, a primary route towards Abuja. This segment covers a significant portion of the journey.

You will pass through Lokoja, Kogi State, a major transit town. Most bus companies will have a designated rest stop here for passengers to stretch, use restrooms, and buy refreshments. Expect potential traffic delays around Lokoja.
