Step 2: Book your interstate bus ticket in Kano. Head to a major interstate motor park in Kano, such as the GIGM Terminal, Peace Mass Transit Park, or GUO Transport office. Book a direct bus to Benin City. It is advisable to book a day or two in advance, especially during peak seasons.

Step 3: Depart Kano. Your bus will depart from the motor park, navigating through Kano city roads, including the Eastern By Pass, before merging onto the Kano-Zaria Highway (which is part of the A2 highway).

Step 4: Journey through Northern and Central Nigeria. The bus will continue on the A2 highway, passing through Zaria and Kaduna. You will then proceed towards Abuja. The route typically takes you through Nnamdi Azikwe Way in Abuja before rejoining the A2, which then becomes the Abuja-Lokoja highway.

Step 5: Transit through Lokoja and Okene. The bus will make a planned stop in Lokoja (Kogi State), often at a designated rest stop for refreshments and stretching. After Lokoja, you'll continue south, passing through Okene before connecting to the Benin-Auchi Road.
