Confirm if they have a drop-off point near Garki, Jigawa. If not, Kano is a very good intermediary due to Garki's proximity.

Board your chosen vehicle. Sienna/Hiace vehicles are generally faster and make fewer stops. Luxury buses offer more comfort but might be slower. The journey will take you through the Abuja-Kaduna Expressway, then connect to the Kaduna-Zaria-Kano Road. Major transit points include Kaduna and Zaria. Expect brief stops for refreshments.

Expect security checkpoints along the route, especially on the Abuja-Kaduna stretch. Road conditions are generally fair to good on major highways, but can have rough patches. The total driving duration is typically 6-8 hours to Kano, plus another 1-1.5 hours to Garki, Jigawa.

If your primary vehicle takes you to Kano, alight at the designated park (e.g., Kano Central Park or Unguwa Uku Park). From there, find a local taxi or Keke Napep heading towards Garki, Jigawa. Garki is relatively close to Kano state border.
