From your current location in Lekki, take a 'Danfo' bus to Ajah Bus Stop. If you are already past Ajah, skip this step.
At Ajah Bus Stop, look for another 'Danfo' or a shared taxi ('Kabu-Kabu') heading towards Eleko Junction. Confirm with the conductor/driver that they are going to Eleko.
From Eleko Junction, you will need to find a 'shared taxi' or 'charter' a car or 'Keke Marwa' (tricycle) directly to the La Campagne Tropicana Beach Resort axis. Bargain for the price if 'chartering'. Shared taxis are cheaper if available.
This option is generally the cheapest but involves more changes and might take longer.
Always confirm the destination with the driver/conductor before boarding.
For the last leg from Eleko, if no shared taxi is readily available, don't be afraid to ask locals for directions or help in finding a vehicle.
It is generally not recommended to travel to La Campagne Axis late at night due to poor road lighting and the isolated nature of some parts of the Epe axis. If unavoidable, use a trusted driver or ensure your journey ends before dark.
LASTMA and VIO are common on the Lekki-Epe Expressway, especially around Ajah and Abraham Adesanya. While they primarily deal with drivers, their presence can sometimes cause slowdowns or short traffic jams. As a passenger, you generally don't need to worry.
If direct shared taxis are scarce at Eleko Junction, you might need to 'charter' a vehicle (car or Keke Marwa) for the final leg. Always negotiate the price before you start the journey. Alternatively, some commercial motorcycles ('Okada') may be available, but this is less safe for long distances.

Best Time to Travel
Early morning (before 6:00 AM) or late morning (after 10:00 AM) to avoid the worst of Lekki-Epe Expressway traffic. Afternoon travel (between 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM) can also be manageable.
Safety Rating
Medium. During the day, it is generally safe. However, the Epe axis can be isolated, and lighting is poor in the evenings. Always be aware of your surroundings, especially when waiting for vehicles in less populated areas. 'One-chance' cases are rare but possible, so use buses from established parks.
BRT / Rail / Water
BRT buses are available up to Abraham Adesanya Estate. There is no direct BRT or train service that goes all the way to the La Campagne Axis.
