Go to the Mile 2 Oke (Upper Bridge) bus stop and look for conductors shouting 'Oshodi' or 'Oshodi Express'. Board the Danfo bus.
Alight at Oshodi Bus Stop under the bridge. Walk over the pedestrian bridge or navigate through the terminal area to the Ikorodu Road loading park.
Board another Danfo going towards 'Ketu' or 'Mile 12'. Make sure you ask the conductor if the bus is going all the way to Mile 12 before you enter.
Stay on the bus as it goes through Anthony and Ojota. Drop at Ketu Bus Stop or stay till the final stop at Mile 12 Market.
Always hold your change (called 'wuru') before you enter the bus so you do not fight with the conductor.
Keep your eye on your belongings when changing buses at Oshodi.
If the conductor says 'No Change', make sure you find a partner to 'couple' with early in the journey.

Safety Rating
Medium - Be very alert at night, especially around Mile 2 under-bridge and Oshodi. Keep your phone and wallet inside your bag. Do not carry your phone in your hand when the bus slows down in traffic, as pickpockets and traffic robbers target careless passengers.
BRT / Rail / Water
Yes. While there is no direct BRT bus or train running all the way from Mile 2 to Mile 12, you can take a local bus to Oshodi and then board a regulated BRT bus from Oshodi Terminal 3 that goes straight down Ikorodu Road through Ketu to Mile 12.

Apapa-Oshodi Expressway
Fares fluctuate constantly because of changes in fuel prices and the level of traffic gridlock. If there is a major bottleneck at Oshodi or Ojota, drivers automatically increase the fare because they will burn more fuel while idling in traffic.
No, Keke tricycles are banned from flying major highways like the Apapa-Oshodi Expressway and Ikorodu Road. Keke can only be used for short inner-street connections within Mile 2 or inside Ketu communities.
To avoid issues, tell the conductor your exact denomination before boarding. If you have a large note like β¦1,000 or β¦2,000, ask 'Conductor, you get change?' If he says no, find smaller notes or be ready for him to pair you with another passenger at the final stop.
It is risky but possible if you use major yellow buses that are full of passengers. Avoid standing alone at Mile 2 under-bridge or Oshodi under-bridge late at night. If you must travel late, using a registered ride-hailing car or a fully loaded commercial bus is much safer.
