Head to a major interstate motor park in Nnewi, such as the Nnewi Main Motor Park or specific terminals for GUO Transport, Peace Mass Transit, or GIGM. These are often located around the Nkwo Nnewi area or along major roads.

Book your ticket in advance, especially for weekend or holiday travel. Confirm the departure time and vehicle type (usually a 14-seater Hiace or a larger luxury bus).

Depart Nnewi. The bus will typically head out on Owerri Road, then Nnewi-Nnobi Road, connecting to F229 and then the Awka-Onitsha road. You'll then proceed onto the A232/A232-1 network, eventually merging onto the major A3 highway.

The journey will take you through major towns and cities in the Middle Belt, including Makurdi, Jos (via Yakubu Gowon Way), and Bauchi (via Bauchi Road). Expect scheduled rest stops for meals and restrooms along the way, usually in Makurdi or Bauchi.

From Bauchi, the bus will connect to the A3 again, possibly using the Maiduguri Bypass before joining the Kano-Maiduguri Highway. The final leg involves branching off this highway towards Birnin Kudu.

Arrive at Birnin Kudu Central Motor Park. From here, you can take a local Keke Napep (tricycle) or motorcycle taxi (Okada) to your final destination within Birnin Kudu.
