Best Time to Travel

The best times to travel are mid-mornings (10:00 AM - 12:00 PM) and early afternoons (02:00 PM - 04:00 PM) to avoid the worst of Lagos's peak hour traffic. Traveling early in the morning (before 06:30 AM) or late in the evening (after 08:00 PM) can also be faster but requires increased safety awareness.

Safety Rating

Medium - While public transport in Lagos is generally safe during the day, it's wise to be cautious, especially when traveling at night. 'One-chance' buses (where criminals pose as public transport operators) can be a risk on some routes. Always use well-lit, busy bus stops and avoid empty vehicles or those with very few passengers, particularly at odd hours.

BRT / Rail / Water

BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) is a good, often faster, and more comfortable option for a significant part of this route, especially from Obalende to Fadeyi/Palmgrove. There are no local flight or train options available for this intra-city journey.
