Early mornings (before 6:00 AM) or late mornings (after 10:00 AM) to avoid peak traffic. Mid-day (12:00 PM - 2:00 PM) can also be less congested. Avoid traveling during evening rush hours (4:00 PM - 8:00 PM) if possible, as travel time can double.

Medium. While generally safe during the day, 'one-chance' incidents can occur, especially in less crowded areas or late at night. Pickpocketing is common in busy bus stops. Always use established bus stops and avoid boarding buses that are not properly loaded or look suspicious, particularly in the evening. LASTMA/VIO officers are often present around major junctions like Oshodi, Iyana-Ipaja, and along the Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway, so ensure your bus appears roadworthy.

BRT / Rail / Water

BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) is available for parts of this route, specifically from Obalende/CMS to Oshodi and then towards Iyana-Ipaja. There is no direct BRT service to Ayobo itself. No train service is available for this specific intra-Lagos route.
