Locate a prominent bus stop in the central Victoria Island area, such as along Ozumba Mbadiwe Avenue or Ahmadu Bello Way. Board a commercial bus (danfo) clearly marked or announced as going to 'CMS' or 'Obalende'.

Alight at the main CMS Bus Stop. Once you're off the bus, navigate towards the larger bus park area, typically under or near the Cathedral Church of Christ, where long-distance intra-city buses load.

At CMS, locate the section for buses heading towards the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway axis. Board a bus specifically going to 'Ojota' or 'Ketu'. Confirm with the conductor ('driver's mate') before boarding to ensure it's the right route.

Alight at Ojota Under Bridge. This is a major interchange and a well-known dropping point. Do not proceed past Ojota if your intention is Berger directly from this point, as you'll miss the transfer spot.

From Ojota, cross to the side of the road that leads towards the Ibadan Expressway (you can use the pedestrian bridge for safety). Look for smaller buses or shared taxis (often called 'kabu-kabu' for short distances) that are specifically loading for 'Berger'. They typically park just after the Ojota bridge on the expressway route.

Tell the conductor you're dropping at 'Berger Bus Stop' or 'Berger Under Bridge'. You will likely alight just before or right at the start of the Long Bridge (Berger Bridge) as you head out of Lagos towards Arepo/Mowe.
