First, from your location in Victoria Island, find a commercial bus (Danfo) or a Keke Napep heading towards CMS or Obalende. These are major interchange points.

Alight at CMS Bus Stop. From here, you need to locate the section for buses heading towards 'Ikorodu Road'. Look for buses explicitly marked 'Ketu', 'Mile 12', or 'Ojota'.

Board a bus heading towards Ketu or Mile 12. These are major hubs on the Ikorodu Road corridor and serve as excellent transfer points.

Tell the conductor you're dropping at Ketu or Mile 12. Either spot works for the next connection. Ketu might be slightly less chaotic for finding a new bus.

Once at Ketu or Mile 12, ask for buses going directly to 'Ikorodu Garage' or 'Ikorodu Roundabout'. You'll find numerous Danfos and perhaps some mini-buses (korope) dedicated to this route.

Board the Ikorodu-bound bus. The journey from here will take you directly into the heart of Ikorodu. Be prepared for potential traffic, especially around Agric and Majidun areas.

You will eventually arrive at Ikorodu Garage, which is a central terminus. From here, you can take a local Keke Napep or Okada (motorcycle taxi, if available and permitted) to your final destination within Ikorodu.
