From Wudil, take a local taxi or 'Keke Napep' to a major interstate motor park in Kano. Recommended parks include Sabon Gari Motor Park or Unguwa Uku Motor Park, where major transport companies operate.

At the motor park, proceed to the booking office of a reputable transport company like GIGM, GUO Transport, Peace Mass Transit, or ABC Transport. Book your ticket to Owerri. Aim for an early morning departure (5:00 AM - 6:00 AM).

Board your air-conditioned luxury or executive Hiace bus. The journey begins on the Kano-Maiduguri Highway, transitioning to the Kano-Zaria Highway and then the A2.

The bus will pass through Kaduna, often using the bypass, before heading towards Abuja. It will typically use the Nnamdi Azikwe Way to bypass the core of Abuja, connecting to the Abuja-Kaduna Highway (A2 south).

Continue south on the A2, passing through parts of Kogi State. There will be a major rest stop in Lokoja (Niger Bridge area) for passengers to eat, use restrooms, and stretch. Expect security checkpoints along this route.

The journey proceeds through Okene, then towards Edo State, eventually connecting to the F116 and Agbor road Main. The route will then lead to the A232 and Onitsha-Asaba Road, eventually crossing the impressive Second Niger Bridge.

After crossing the Second Niger Bridge, the bus will merge onto the Onitsha - Owerri Road (F229), leading directly into Owerri.

The bus will arrive at its designated terminal in Owerri, such as the Peace Mass Transit Terminal on Aba Road, GIGM Terminal on Egbu Road, or ABC Transport Terminal on Egbu Road. From there, you can take a local taxi, 'Keke Napep', or motorcycle ('Okada') to your final destination within Owerri.
