Ikate Elegushi is located in the Eti-Osa Local Government Area (LGA) of Lagos State. It is situated in the heart of what many people simply call "Lekki." Specifically, it sits between Lekki Phase 1 and the Jakande/Agungi axis.
The terrain is mostly flat and well-paved, though some inner streets might experience flash floods during very heavy rainfall. It is bordered to the North by the Lagos Lagoon and to the South by the Atlantic Ocean coastline, which is where the famous Elegushi Beach is located.
