If you have ever taken a BRT bus to Ikorodu, you probably know the stop called 'Agric.' It is one of the busiest junctions in that part of the city. But is it on the Mainland? Is Agric Mainland or Island?

The Answer: It is on the Mainland

Agric is located on the Lagos Mainland, specifically in the Ikorodu axis. While Ikorodu is far from the city center, it is part of the Mainland geography. Agric is the major entrance point for many residential estates in the area, and it is nowhere near the Island bridges.

The 'Agric' Experience

Why is it called Agric? It is named after the old agricultural center that used to be in the area. Today, it is a major transport hub. If you are a commuter living in Ikorodu, Agric is where your journey often begins. The BRT terminal here is always filled with people heading to Oshodi, Ikeja, or CMS every morning.
