From Ikeja and Maryland

If you are coming from Ikeja or Maryland, you will head towards the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway. You can enter a bus going to Ojota or Berger. Once you get to Ojota, you can easily find a smaller bus or Keke Napep (tricycle) going directly into Magodo Phase 1. If you drop at Maryland, you can also get a bus going to Ojota or Berger and then connect.

From Oshodi

From Oshodi, you should look for a bus going to Ojota. Oshodi is a major transport hub, so you'll find plenty of buses. Once you drop at Ojota, Magodo Phase 1 is just a short distance away, and you can take a Keke Napep or a shared taxi directly to the estate.

From Lagos Island (CMS, Marina, Lekki, Ajah)

If you are coming from Lagos Island, CMS, Marina, Lekki, or Ajah, you will typically take a bus heading towards Ojota or Berger. These buses usually pass through the Third Mainland Bridge and then connect to the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway. Once you get to Ojota or Berger, Magodo Phase 1 is very accessible.

• Plan Your Journey: Lagos traffic can be unpredictable. If you have an appointment, always leave earlier than you think you need to, especially during peak hours.
• Confirm Fares: Before you enter any public transport, always ask the driver or conductor for the fare to your destination. This helps avoid disputes later.
• Stay Aware: Keep an eye on your belongings, especially in crowded bus stops like Ojota or Oshodi.
• Use Reputable Services: For longer distances or if you prefer more comfort, consider ride-hailing apps like Uber or Bolt. They offer fixed fares and a higher level of security.
• Know Your Drop-off Point: Clearly tell the driver you want to drop at "Magodo Phase 1 Gate" or a specific landmark within Magodo Phase 1 if you know it.
• Cash is King (but cards are growing): While ride-hailing apps use cashless payments, local buses and Keke Napeps still primarily operate with cash. Have smaller denominations available.
• Avoid Night Travel: While Magodo Phase 1 itself is safe, navigating Lagos public transport late at night can be challenging and potentially less safe. Plan your trips to arrive during daylight hours if possible.
