Where exactly is Pedro in Lagos: Your 2026 Transport Guide

Detailed Route and Area Breakdown

Getting to Pedro typically involves navigating some of Lagos's busiest roads, primarily Ikorodu Road, which serves as a major artery on the mainland. Depending on your starting point, you might take a direct bus or a connecting route.

If you're coming from the **Island** (e.g., CMS, Marina, Victoria Island), you'll likely head towards the mainland via the Third Mainland Bridge, then connect towards Yaba or Fadeyi before heading to Pedro. From areas like **Ikeja** or **Maryland**, you'll typically join Ikorodu Road and head east, dropping at Fadeyi or Palmgrove and then taking a short ride into Pedro.

Once you "drop" at major bus stops like Fadeyi, Palmgrove, or even Bariga, you can easily find smaller buses (Danfo), Keke Napep (tricycles), or motorcycles (Okada, where permitted) to take you deeper into specific parts of Pedro. Key landmarks within Pedro or very close by include the Pedro Police Station, Pedro Bus Stop (a central point), and various local markets and schools that serve as easy navigation markers.

The area is generally well-served by public transport, making it accessible from most parts of Lagos. However, traffic can be a significant factor, especially during peak hours (morning and evening rush). Planning your journey to avoid these times can save you a lot of travel time.
