Al-Qalam University (formerly Katsina University) is a premier Islamic-faith-based institution. It is located in the culturally rich city of Katsina, in the northwestern part of Nigeria.
The university is located along the Dutsin-ma Road in Katsina City, Katsina State.
From the Kofar Kwaya or Kofar Durbi axis in Katsina city, take a local taxi or tricycle. The university is a major landmark along the Dutsin-ma highway and is very popular among locals.
If you are traveling from Kano, take a bus or car from the Kofar Ruwa or Ungogo park heading to Katsina. The journey takes about 2 to 2.5 hours. Once you enter Katsina town, tell your driver to drop you at the Al-Qalam University gate.
