Step 1: Getting to the Departure Terminal. Head to the Billiri Main Motor Park or the popular Billiri Junction. This is where shared taxis (Sienna cars) and local buses load passengers heading towards Gombe or directly to Azare.

Step 2: Booking and Departure. Look for Sienna drivers or agents calling out 'Azare' or 'Gombe'. Confirm the destination and fare before boarding. Shared Siennas typically wait until all 6-7 passenger seats are filled before departing. Expect to depart between 6:00 AM and 10:00 AM.

Step 3: The Journey - Initial Leg. Depart Billiri on local roads, then turn straight onto Mutum Daya to Filiya Road. Continue, following local routes, and connect to the A345. Expect police/military checkpoints along the route. Road conditions may vary, from smooth stretches to sections with potholes.

Step 4: Mid-Journey - Key Roads & Rest Stops. You'll reach a roundabout and take a slight right onto the GOMBE - YOLA ROAD. This road is part of the A345. You will pass through or skirt around Gombe city, a major transit hub, where drivers might make a brief stop for fuel or passengers. The route then involves turning right onto Road F251, connecting to Dukku Road, and merging left onto the A3 highway, which forms part of the Kano-Maiduguri Highway.

Step 5: Final Leg to Azare. From the Kano-Maiduguri Highway, turn left onto the Misau - Azare Road. Continue on this road, navigating through Misau town and several roundabouts, until you reach Azare. You will follow local roads into the town center.

Step 6: Arrival and Local Transit. You will arrive at the Azare Main Motor Park or a central drop-off point in Azare. From there, you can take a local Keke Napep (tricycle) or an Okada (motorcycle taxi) to your final destination within Azare.
