Best Time to Travel

To avoid heavy traffic, travel early in the morning (before 6:30 AM) or late morning (after 10:00 AM). Mid-afternoon (1:00 PM - 3:30 PM) is also a good time. Try to avoid the evening rush hour (4:00 PM - 7:30 PM) if possible.

Medium. This route is generally safe during the day. However, like any crowded city area, be aware of pickpocketing, especially in busy spots like Obalende and Sura Market. 'One-chance' incidents are less common on short, intra-city routes but can occur late at night, so avoid isolated transport or sharing rides with strangers after dark.

BRT / Rail / Water

There is no direct BRT or rail service that covers this exact route end-to-end. While the Lagos Blue Rail Line has a station at CMS (which is relatively close), you would still need connecting 'Danfo' or 'Keke' rides from Ikoyi to CMS, and then from CMS to Sura. BRT routes are also nearby but would require transfers with 'Danfo' or 'Keke'.
