Depart from Kafanchan, navigating local roads to join the A3 highway. You will proceed south, passing through towns and villages.

Continue on the A3 highway towards Makurdi. You will cross the Benue River. Expect a brief stop or slow traffic in Makurdi town.

After Makurdi, the route continues on A3 (which might be referred to as Makurdi-Jos Road in sections) towards Enugu. There will likely be a designated rest stop for passengers to stretch, use the restroom, and buy refreshments.

Near Enugu, the route will transition from A3 to the F113 road, then join the Enugu - Port Harcourt Expressway. Continue on this expressway, which is a major dual carriageway.
