Early morning (before 6:00 AM) or late morning/early afternoon (between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM) are the best times to avoid the worst of the peak hour traffic. Weekends generally have lighter traffic, but major events or market days can still cause congestion.

Pickpocketing can occur in crowded transport hubs like Oshodi. BRT / Rail / Water

BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) is a reliable option for parts of this route, specifically from Obalende/CMS to Oshodi, offering a more structured and often faster journey due to dedicated lanes. There is no direct train service covering this specific intra-city route at present. However, the Lagos Red Line rail project, once fully operational, will serve the Agege axis (from Iju/Agege to Oyingbo), which could offer future connectivity options for the Agege end of your journey.
