Head to the nearest major bus stop on Admiralty Way or directly on the Lekki-Epe Expressway within Lekki Phase 1. Popular collection points include 'Marwa' bus stop or around the 'Lekki Phase 1 Gate' area.

Board a yellow commercial bus (danfo) that is clearly marked or being called out as going to 'CMS' or 'Obalende'. These routes almost always pass through major parts of Victoria Island. Confirm with the conductor that it will pass your specific desired drop-off point in VI, e.g., 'Eko Hotel' or 'Ozumba Mbadiwe'.

The bus will proceed along the main Lekki-Epe Expressway. You will pass the vicinity of the Lekki-Ikoyi Link Bridge junction and continue towards the former Lekki Toll Gate area, which is now mostly electronic tolling or free.

As you enter Victoria Island, the expressway transitions into Ozumba Mbadiwe Avenue. Keep an eye out for prominent landmarks that signify your arrival in VI.

Tell the conductor you're dropping at your preferred location in Victoria Island, such as 'Eko Hotel Roundabout', 'Bar Beach', 'Akin Adesola', or 'Kofo Abayomi' as you approach it.
