The best times to travel are mid-morning (10:00 AM - 12:00 PM) or early afternoon (2:00 PM - 3:30 PM) to avoid the worst of Lagos's peak hour traffic. Peak hours are typically 6:00 AM - 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM.

Safety Rating

Medium. Daytime travel on these routes is generally safe, as they are busy and well-traveled. However, always be aware of your surroundings, especially with your phone and valuables. For evening travel, stick to well-lit areas and avoid isolated public transport. 'One-chance' syndicates, though rare on these direct routes, are a general Lagos caution; always board commercial vehicles from designated bus stops.

BRT / Rail / Water

BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) is a major transport option, offering a relatively faster and more structured service from Lekki to CMS. The new Lagos Blue Line Rail is also available from CMS to Marina, providing a quick final leg to Broad Street.
