Best Time to Travel

The best time to travel is mid-morning (10 AM - 12 PM) or early afternoon (2 PM - 4 PM) to avoid the worst of Lagos's notorious peak hour traffic. Avoid peak rush hours: 6 AM - 9 AM and 4 PM - 8 PM, as travel times can more than double.

Safety Rating

Medium. During daylight hours, the route is generally safe. However, exercise caution at night, especially after 8 PM. Be aware of 'one-chance' vehicles (unmarked public transport that may rob passengers) on less busy routes or late hours. Always use well-populated bus stops and avoid isolated areas when waiting for transport.

BRT / Rail / Water

BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) is a viable option for a significant part of this journey. You can access BRT from Obalende or CMS, heading towards Fadeyi or Jibowu on Ikorodu Road. From these points, you would transfer to a local Danfo or Keke Napep for the final leg to Moshalashi. The Lagos Red Rail Line has a station at Oyingbo, which is a major transport hub, but connecting directly to Moshalashi by rail from there isn't the most seamless or efficient option for this specific route. Road transport is generally more direct for the entire journey.
