Best Time to Travel

Early mornings (before 6 AM) or late mornings (after 10 AM) to avoid the worst of the peak hour traffic. Mid-afternoons (2 PM - 3 PM) can also be less congested. Avoid traveling between 4 PM and 8 PM if possible.

Safety Rating

Medium. While generally safe during the day, long public transport routes in Lagos carry risks. Be cautious of pickpockets at busy bus stops like Obalende and Oshodi. 'One-chance' (robbery in commercial vehicles) is a concern, especially when traveling late at night or in less crowded vehicles. Stick to designated bus stops and avoid flagging down random vehicles.

BRT / Rail / Water

BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) is available for significant parts of this journey, especially from Obalende/CMS to Oshodi. There is no rail option directly serving this route within Lagos.
