Is Trade Fair on the Island or Mainland? Your Complete Lagos Commuter Guide

1. Coming from Lagos Island (CMS, Obalende, Victoria Island, Lekki)

If you are coming from the Island, your main goal is to cross over to the Mainland via the Third Mainland Bridge or Eko Bridge, head towards Mile 2, and then connect to the Lagos-Badagry Expressway.

• By Bus (Danfo/BRT): Board a direct bus from CMS or Obalende going to Mile 2. When you drop at Mile 2, walk towards the Badagry expressway flyover and enter another short-distance Danfo bus or Keke heading straight to Trade Fair bus stop.
• By Train (Highly Recommended): To beat the crazy traffic on this route, take the Lagos Blue Line Rail from the Marina Station on the Island. Ride the train all the way to the Mile 2 Interchange Station. From Mile 2, you can easily hop into a quick Danfo bus, BRT, or Keke to complete the short journey to Trade Fair.

2. Coming from Lagos Mainland Central (Ikeja, Oshodi, Yaba)

If you are already starting your journey from the central Mainland, your route is more direct.

• From Oshodi: Go to the Oshodi Transport Interchange. Look for buses heading directly towards Mile 2. Once you reach Mile 2, drop and board a connecting bus straight to Trade Fair. Alternatively, look for direct Badagry or Agbara buses from Oshodi that pass directly in front of the Trade Fair gates.
• From Ikeja / Along Oba Akran: Board a bus going to Mile 2 or Oshodi, then follow the standard Mile 2 route down to Trade Fair.

3. Coming from the Outskirts (Ikorodu, Berger, Abule Egba)

Commuters coming from these far ends need to first make their way to Oshodi or Oshodi Interchange. From Berger, take a direct bus to Oshodi. From Abule Egba, you can take a bus down to Oshodi or Oshodi-Isolo expressway. Once at Oshodi, transition to the Mile 2 and Trade Fair corridor.
