Moving from Fadeyi to Ijora is a straight journey down the Ikorodu Road axis into the Mainland-Island connection zone. The trip is relatively short in distance but can become very slow due to heavy traffic at major intersections, port-bound trucks, and ongoing road adjustments around the bridges.

Stand at the main Fadeyi Bus Stop along Ikorodu road and look for a direct Danfo going to Costain or Apapa.
Stay on the bus through Ojuelegba and Stadium, then alight at Costain Bus Stop.
From Costain Bus Stop, cross over safely and board a short-distance Danfo or enter a Keke going directly into Ijora 7Up or Ijora Olopa.
Drop at your final destination in Ijora, near the bridge or the local markets.
Always carry smaller Naira notes (change) so you do not have issues with conductors.
Listen carefully when the conductor shouts the destination so you do not enter a bus going straight to Lagos Island via Eko Bridge.
Keep your bags zipped and hold them in front of you at Costain Under-bridge.
If the traffic at Ojuelegba is completely dead, you can drop, walk past the bridge, and take another cheap bus to cut down waiting time.

Safety Rating
Medium - Fadeyi and Costain under-bridge can be rough early in the morning or late at night. Hold your phone tightly, lock your car doors, and avoid showing expensive items to street boys (area boys) who hang around slow-moving traffic.
BRT / Rail / Water
The Blue Rail Line runs from Mile 2 down to Marina, which does not directly connect Fadeyi to Ijora. However, you can use the standard regulated BRT buses along Ikorodu road from Fadeyi down to Costain before making your final link to Ijora.

Bypass the Ikeja Under-Bridge corridor from 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM. Traffic builds rapidly due to commercial buses loading along the main road lanes.
Areas Affected
Ikorodu Road
Transport fares fluctuate due to the high cost of fuel, the time of day, and sudden traffic jams caused by big fuel tankers and container trucks blocking the roads around Ijora.
Direct buses are rare. Most Danfos will carry passengers heading to Costain or Apapa. It is usually faster to take a bus to Costain and then take a quick Keke or short bus into Ijora.
It is not very safe after 8:00 PM. These areas have low street lighting and many boys hanging around. If you must travel late, use a registered ride-hailing car or stay inside a crowded commercial vehicle.
If big trucks block the road completely, drop from your bus at a safe point and take a registered commercial motorcycle (Okada) if available, or walk the remaining distance along the pedestrian paths with other commuters.
