Best Time to Travel

Early mornings (before 6 AM) or late mornings (after 10 AM) are best to avoid the worst of the rush hour traffic. Mid-day (12 PM - 3 PM) is also usually smoother. Avoid peak evening rush (4 PM - 8 PM) if possible, as travel time can double or triple.

Safety Rating

Medium. While largely safe during the day, exercise caution at night. Be aware of your surroundings, especially in crowded bus stops like Oshodi. 'One-chance' incidents are rare on these main routes but always a possibility, so avoid boarding vehicles with only a driver and one or two suspicious passengers, especially late in the evening.

BRT / Rail / Water

BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) is a good option for a significant portion of this journey, especially from CMS/TBS to Oshodi. There is currently no direct operational rail service for this specific route, although the Lagos Red Line (currently under construction) will eventually pass through Oshodi.
